Sail & Ski Touring in Sognefjorden
with Husky Sailing

What we do

Are you looking for an affordable but unforgettable Norway experience, but can’t decide between exploring the fjords by sea or by mountain?
Well we got you covered. As someone who loves both powder-covered mountains and misty mornings on the fjord, we try and offer the best of both worlds.

We offer a budget-friendly one week sail and ski adventure, where we spend the whole week exploring the nooks and crannies of Sognefjorden. Our consept is very much “keep it simple”, but for the adventurous soul, this is extremely high value for money.

Our playground is the beautiful Sognefjorden, nicknamed “King of the Fjords”, as it is Norway’s longest and deepest fjord. The mountains here are a mecca for alpine ski touring, and proximity to the glacier combined with the humid costal climate make for snowy winters.

Sognefjorden is located just a few hours with the speed ferry from Bergen, which itself is a just a short flight or a very scenic train ride from Oslo. Every trip will be tailored to the group’s wishes, but we make sure to start and end the week somewhere easily accessible.

Our ship “Aurora” is a 2001 Bavaria 34. She snuggly fits 4 guests + the skipper and his furry mascot, and has all the amenities needed for a seven day winter adventure. We usually cook all meals on the boat, and take turns doing the cooking and other day-to-day chores.

The crew consists of myself and my 3 year old husky-girl. She loves the mountains even more than me, and she is more than happy to help pull you up the mountainside.
